Terms of service

VisaRelay monitors published Irish visa decision information for registered application numbers and provides alerts. It does not make, influence, guarantee, or interpret visa decisions.

An applicant alert is a one time charge of $1 for one application number. Prices are in US dollars. Agencies buy prepaid seat packs, where one seat covers one application number and seats do not expire. There is no subscription and no recurring billing.

The price is shown before payment. Applicant registrations retain their recorded price. Agency pack prices can change before checkout begins; an initiated checkout keeps its recorded amount. Completed payments are not repriced. Payments are processed by Polar, our merchant of record. Applicable taxes are calculated and shown at checkout. An applicant alert becomes active after payment confirmation. Agency seats can also be granted through a valid free-seat code. Polar provides the payment receipt; VisaRelay emails the activation confirmation and reference.

Delivery has two stages: a confirmation that the alert is active, sent within a few minutes of payment, and the decision alert itself, sent after we find your application number on a new Embassy list. The second date is set by the Embassy and not by us.

Checking whether a decision has already been published is free. If the number you enter is already on the published list we show the result immediately and take no payment.

Use the secure unsubscribe link in an alert to stop routine updates only or all ongoing alerts, including decisions and corrections. The choice applies to that application or agency account. Receipts, sign-in codes and replies to your requests remain available. Unsubscribing does not automatically refund a payment.

We refund a payment where the alert did not reach you through a failure on our side, where you were charged without an alert being activated, or where you were charged twice. We do not refund because a visa was refused or because the Embassy took longer than expected, since neither is within our control. You must provide accurate details, register only numbers you are authorised to manage, keep account access secure, and avoid using the service in an unlawful, abusive, or disruptive way.

The application number you enter is the number we watch. Check it before you pay, and tell us before a decision alert is sent if it is wrong.

An alert is not an official decision notice. You remain responsible for checking the official Embassy source and complying with all instructions, dates, and requirements issued by the relevant authorities.

We work to keep the service accurate and available, but source changes, network failures, maintenance, or other events may delay or prevent an alert. Do not rely on VisaRelay as your only source of time-sensitive immigration information.
